Ways to Serve
This team looks for and implements opportunities for people to grow in their relationship with God. These opportunities include Bible studies, Sunday small groups, and creative ways to encounter God.
This team plays with fun, electronic toys! Audio Visual volunteers have the opportunity to do any of the following:
Sound – Set up microphones and mute/unmute them as needed during worship or other events; make adjustments on the sound board to improve sound quality.
Projection – Using our presentation computer and software, control what is shown on the screens in the sanctuary, such as song lyrics and scripture.
Lights – Using our lighting computer and software, change lighting in the sanctuary to enhance worship.
Streaming – Using camera controllers, control what is being shown on our live broadcasts.
We will train you in any or all of these! If you are comfortable with computers/technology and would love to use your skills to help create a spirit-filled worship experience, we invite you to join our team!
The Worship Team creates a pleasant atmosphere in the sanctuary by adding Seasonal, Liturgical, or Wow items that enhance the worship environment – creating a place everyone can enjoy a meaningful worship experience. The team works with the ministers to coordinate upcoming programs and events.

The Children’s Ministry Team goal is to pray about, discuss, and implement ways that help out children grow in their faith while also creating a safe and welcoming environment for all. These are the party people! The Fellowship Team plans and executes social events for our congregation. They also assist other ministry teams with events. If you enjoy planning events, decorating, cooking or just like to have fun, you’ll enjoy being part of this team.
Members of the Hospitality Team are often the first people you see when you walk into the church building on Sunday mornings. This team strives to create an inviting spirit in the church. They greet people as they arrive and strive to make guests feel comfortable. If you enjoy greeting and meeting new people, this ministry team would love to have you!
The Membership team encourages people to connect with their church family and maintain connection. The team helps the church office maintain an accurate database of members and other friends and supporters of the church. This team communicates with members through cards or other communication to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays, to offer encouragement during trying times, and to help those who cannot be at church in person feel connected, such as college students, homebound, and military service members serving elsewhere.
The Stewardship Team has two main goals: Oversee the finances of the church and provide members with stewardship studies and opportunities. If you have skills in the area of finance or would like to be involved in stewardship education, please join our team.
