Spiritual Growth, Community, & Outreach
Three things we hold as important to our church community are Spiritual Growth for all ages, Christian Community, and local and global Outreach.
Adults
One on one discipleship is the best way to grow in Christ-likeness. We encourage you to take that step!
We also offer a number of Bible study classes on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and occasionally on other weeknights.
Kids
FCC Kids is the most contagious fun! We want kids to build friendships and learn that our God is with us and for us! Our kids ages 3 years old to 5th grade gather on both Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Youth
We have an incredible Youth Group that is on fire for serving others, growing spiritually, and creating community amongst themselves. They meet on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings.
Outreach
Jesus taught a number of times on serving others. From the Good Samaritan to “Whatever you do for the least of these”, Jesus made it clear we are expected to care for others.
At FCC we serve others by partnering with missions, going on mission trips, volunteering and giving to our community, and much more.
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations... Matthew 28:19-20 Our motto will be “GO”

Our Vision
Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations… Matthew 28:19-20
Our motto will be “GO”
We feel led by God to be strongly committed to these areas of ministry.
- Encourage and empower discipleship and spiritual growth
- Humbly and boldly serve in outreach and mission
- Embrace and prepare for congregational growth
Our Beliefs
We are united in our belief that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that he is the Lord and Savior of our lives. Other than this, we hold no formal set of doctrinal statements.
We honor each person’s spiritual journey and encourage all people to seriously seek out God in all things. We respect traditions of the Christian faith and strive to be a beacon of unity a place where our differences don’t divide us.
As a sign of Christian unity, we share communion each week as part of our worship.
Our Denomination
We are a part of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), a movement for wholeness in a fragmented world. We are one of three religious bodies that trace their origin to the Stone-Campbell Movement of the nineteenth century.
Kenneth Teegarden, a former general minister and president for Disciples, once offered a defining summary of the name:
“The generic first part, Christian Church, points to our objective of unity; the distinguishing second part, Disciples of Christ, reminds us that we have not arrived.”
