Wayne Smither
Wayne was born in St. Joseph, Missouri, and has been married to his wife, Lori, for over 41 years. Together they have four children and have lovingly adopted three grandchildren into their family. Lori has been a constant source of encouragement and support throughout Wayne’s ministry.
Professionally, Wayne served as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) at Bothwell Regional Health Center. For the past six years, he faithfully served alongside our youth ministry before stepping into the role of Youth Director.
Wayne has a genuine passion for investing in the next generation. He believes God has placed a special love for young people on his heart, and he is committed to helping students know Jesus, grow in their faith, and discover the purpose God has for their lives. Through authentic relationships, biblical teaching, and a caring presence, Wayne strives to encourage and walk alongside every student God places in his path.
