Tara Thompson

Our Associate Minister is  Tara Thompson. Tara came to First Christian Church in September 2022. Tara is a native of Southwest Missouri and graduated from Missouri Southern State University with a BA in Psychology, and a minor in Sociology. Upon graduation from MSSU, Tara entered seminary, and in May 2010 graduated with the Master of Divinity degree from Phillips Theological Seminary in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was then ordained into Christian Ministry in July 2010. Tara has served congregations in Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas; and is happy to be back in Missouri. She is the proud mother to Ian.

Tara is seeking for herself and other travelers on this faith journey to go on the journey that Jesus took, together.

He has told you, O mortal, what is good;
