The 55+ Club invites you to a Mardi Gras Celebration!
“Mardi Gras is a French for Fat Tuesday, referring to the practice of the last night of eating richer, fatty foods before the ritual fasting of the Lenton season, which begins on Ash Wednesday. The day is sometimes referred to as Shrove Tuesday, from the word shrive, meaning confess.
The 55+ Club invites the entire congregation to come, collect your Mardi Gras beads and get “fattened” up before Lent begins!
A free will offering will be accepted.
