The MISSION of Children’s Ministry at First Christian Church is to give children a safe place in which they know they are loved as they stand on the Word of God, learning what it means to follow Jesus, and living as the Hands and Feet of Christ as they go out into the world.

The 3 essential pieces are:

• Children need to have a safe place where they can discover who God is and their relationship to Him.
• Children need to be given a firm foundation in His Word and taught how to develop a strong devotional life that doesn’t stop once they leave the building.
• Children need to know that being the church means being the Hands and Feet of Christ in their personal lives, their community and the world.

Children’s Church is offered during our 9 and 11:10 am services. Children will learn more about God, grow in their faith, make a craft, and have a snack! We also have Sunday Bible Study for all ages at 10-ish! Join us!

Junior Youth Fellowship (JYF) meets every Wednesday night from 6-7pm for our 3rd-5th graders! This is a transitional program preparing our kids for Youth Group when they are in 6th grade. We learn, share in community, and play fun games! We meet during select times in the summer.

ARK Kids (4 years-2nd grade) meets during the fall and spring semesters for 6 weeks each. They grow in the faith through Bible lessons, music, games, and more!
